Bug Description
Binary package hint: nautilus
I'm trying to open a FTP-connection to the password protected server keg.few.vu.nl, but nautilus locks up. When I try opening the connection on the gnome desktop, I only get the popup "Opening "keg.few.vu.nl" you can stop this operation by clicking Cancel.", and I can wait forever. However, connecting to another FTP-server just works. But when I try to do ftp or telnet in a terminal, I can login, so I don't think it's the fault of the server. Perhaps this bug has something to do with the server being slow responding with "220 keg.few.vu.nl FTP server (Version wu-2.6.2+Sun) ready." and nautilus not expecting this. I am using nautilus version 2.20.0. I am experiencing this since I upgraded my Ubuntu distribution from version 7.04 to 7.10.
