Bug Description

Binary package hint: xchat-gnome

When xchat-gnome connects to a new network, there is a short interval when it locks up (say about 5s). On starting xchat-gnome this is very noticeable, as with several networks to connect to, it locks up for the best part of a minute!

I was having the same issue a couple of days ago, after taking a look i founded hundred of lines regarding pulseaudio in syslog, after removing pulseaudio, xchat-gnome starts to works fine.
