Bug Description

In 18.04 my brightness increases when waking from suspend

According to my system it seems to think it is still at the same brightness level. When it simply isn't. I then have to adjust the level and put it back where it was before to get it back to the way I had before suspending my laptop.

I am currently using an HP ProBook 4530s.

I seemed to have remedied the issue. By modifying line 11 of /etc/default/grub to read. 'GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash acpi_backlight=vendor"'
