thinkpad_ec taints kernel, signature missing, hdaps: supported laptop not found

Bug Description

Bug affects my ThinkPad X200s and X201.
Both had no problems with thinkpad_ec & hdaps on 16.04.
Now i got same error messages on both machines:

DMESG:

I wrote the developers a mail about that prob and got answer:

tp-smapi (0.42-1ubuntu1) zesty; urgency=medium

  * Drop hdaps modules build as it is now upstream as of linux v4.9
    debian/patches/drop-hdaps.patch

Your upstream version is NOT working properly!
Could you please fix it?
