Bug Description

Testing Xubuntu 18.10:

willem@willem-Lenovo-ideapad-110-15ISK:~$ lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu Cosmic Cuttlefish (development branch)
Release: 18.10
willem@willem-Lenovo-ideapad-110-15ISK:~$ uname -a
Linux willem-Lenovo-ideapad-110-15ISK 4.15.0-15-generic #16-Ubuntu SMP Wed Apr 4 13:58:14 UTC 2018 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
willem@willem-Lenovo-ideapad-110-15ISK:~$

When I click the whiskermenu icon, or press the super-key (which I have mapped to open whiskermenu) there is a definite lag (.5 sec?) before the menu opens.

If there is more information I can provide, please let me know.

Using 2.2.0-1 at the moment. Lag is gone/not noticeable. Thanks!
