Bug Description

Trying to install grub-efi-ia32 on Ubuntu Wily for an Asus Transformer T100. The package failed to install when the operating system was originally installed.

Using this tutorial: http://www.jfwhome.com/2016/01/04/latest-steps-to-install-ubuntu-on-the-asus-t100ta

Accessed the old release of Ubuntu Wily using this tutorial: https://serverfault.com/questions/622735/how-do-i-upgrade-an-end-of-life-ubuntu-distribution

You edited your /etc/default/grub file and put an incorrect space on this line:

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT= "quiet splash"

Changed in grub2 (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid
