Dialogs render at the center of combined monitor space with a multi-monitor setup

On Ubuntu 18.04, with the "Show Icons" and "Thrash" enabled, trying to empty the trash results in the dialog being rendered at the center of the combined desktop space.

I wonder if we can generalize this bug. Do any other windows/apps launched from the left monitor also appear on the right?

Hi, upon my limited testing, the following actions seem to exhibit the same thing as the above:

On the desktop, with the right click context menu on a file;
-Open With Other Application
-Move to...
-Copy to...
-Compress...
-Properties
