The version of fotoxx, 17.08.2, that you have installed is not the one from the official Ubuntu archive. Please uninstall it and then try installing the new version again.

I am sorry to get back to you so late but i had other things more pressing.

I attempted to find Fotoxx in the software center and it was not there,
even after doing a typed in search. I like the program so I went to the
developer's site and down loaded it.
