[SOLVED] Ubuntu 18.04 clean install crashes for Grub install ...

Grub install fails during clean install of Ubuntu 18.04. After clicking ok at the prompt dialog, the whole installation process fails.

The problem was that previous attempts for installing Ubuntu 18.04 from scratch deleted the EFI Boot partition. Adding that partition during installation setup solves the problem. Installing with other options (not the "something else" option) also works.
