While writing an e-mail there is a 3 seconds freeze

When I write an e-mail with evolution, when I type, once in a while a freeze happens. Characters that I type don't appear anymore, but then they show up all at once.

Thanks for your report, Do you have the Visual Effects (compiz) enabled? Does it happens without it? Is this reproducible with another new user account?

Well Pedro, after a serious amount of testing (and nonsense typing which made my fingers hurt :) ) I can say it doesn't happen with desktop effects off or with a different user.

Besides, I have screenlets installed on my computer, so I tried deactivating my only screenlet (a system monitor) and with desktop effects on it does not happen. If my typing tests (very scientific ones) where correct the problem should be the screenlts, which are not in Ubuntu's repositories.

So I guess you can set the bug as invalid. If it happens again with out screenlets running (since I won't be using them anymore because I prefer having Evolution Without stops) I'll reopen the bug. Thanks!
