Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

Whenever I navigate away from a page which is playing some form of video firefox will occasionally freeze. This happens regardless of how I try to navigate away, be it closing the tab, typing in a new url, or attempting to close firefox. This only occurs when I navigate away from the page while it is still playing video.

I have yet to be able to isolate or predict when this will occur, although I do not believe it has happened the first time I open firefox, which may indicate that it only occurs after I watch several videos.

Browsing Youtube, it's quite easy to reproduce.

Please remove /home/chris/.mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so and
install the flashplugin-nonfree package instead.

I've got the same problem and I've always been using flashplugin-nonfree.
