Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately we can't fix it, because your description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem.
We have instructions on debugging some types of problems. http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures
At a minimum, we need:
1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem,
2. the behavior you expected, and
3. the behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible).
Thanks!

I encounter the same bug with his. The movie player splits vertically down into two displays, the upper one is fully black, the lower one only can be seen of one cm height at its top, most image of which is below the screen. And the sound is not stable. When plays a song of mp3, it has to pause for half a sec several times to wait the cpu to catch up. And my cpu is not so bad PD805 (by the way, would you please make a program, such as fan conditioner on Windows, made by BIOSTAR, to fix that huge noise the original fans brings?

In my perspective, I download every updates in the software manager I can get, with a wish I could be able to see most kinds of movies. But only brings this bug or conflict, without enjoying the success of watching movies on Ubuntu.
