sudo apparmor_parser --replace /etc/apparmor.d/usr.lib.snapd.snap-confine.real

installed it, and it says

$ sudo apparmor_parser --replace /etc/apparmor.d/usr.lib.snapd.snap-confine.real

$ sudo systemctl status apparmor

The initial report indicated a parser error, but then it was reported that the apparmor package was removed, so then it would not be able to run properly. I'm not able to reproduce with the information given. If you are able to provide exact steps to reproduce, please do and we can take another look.
