Terminator preferences not accessible

using Kali Linux (Debian) after enabling the option in preferences to 'putty_paste_style = True' there is no possible way to get back to the Terminator preferences manager window the only way to get the context menu back is by editing the prefernces manually with leafpad @ ~/.config/terminator/config and disabling 'putty_paste_style = False' is there any way to if this option is true then add a keyboard shortcut that opens preferences manager ?

Confirmed. A couple of ideas:

- Terminator could have an appmenu with a few standard entries including Preferences
- Right-click with Shift or Ctrl modifier could bring up the context menu
- Right-click on the red title bar could bring it up
- There could be an entry in the popup menu of the upper left corner of panes, the one with the red-blue-white logo
- There could be a "terminator --preferences" cmdline option

Making the default right-click accessible via a modifier seems like a practical, low-cost solution -- that's what I intuitively tried before discovering the OP's approach.

I confirm the issue on Ubuntu Beaver.

But the fix DOES NOT work.
Even if I remove the config file (rm .config/terminator/config), I still CANNOT access the preference menu. This is very annoying.

In fact, I try to simply disable the layout launcher shortcut (Alt-L), but copying from an old terminator config gives no result.

Please post asap a workaround. Anything. Ideally command-line based. Thanks!

I found how to disable Alt-L.

For the context menu, adding explicitly "putty_paste_style = False" in [global_config] DOES NOT fix the problem either.
