Bug Description

Version Inkscape 0.92.3 (2405546, 2018-03-11)
Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit, Service Pack 1

Open the attached file. Move one of the orange pieces. Press Ctrl + Z.

The orange piece will return to its original position and turn black. It should not turn black.

The SVG was generated using this online service to convert MS PowerPoint slides to SVG: https://www.idrsolutions.com/online-powerpoint-to-svg-converter/ - the .PPT file can also be provided if required.

confirmed on Windows 10, Inkscape 0.92.3 (2405546, 2018-03-11)

on Windows 10, Inkscape 0.92+devel (e9e25c0, 2018-03-28) I get somewhat different behavior. The objects initially all render as black, even before moving them. And I get the following exit messages in DOS:
end_font_face_cb: font face rule limited support.
  font-family : Carlito_9;
  src : url(fonts/Carlito_9.woff) format("woff")

I have the following information from user Moini on inkscapeforum.com: "the colors are applied via CSS classes. Inkscape doesn't fully support that yet in Inkscape 0.92.3... it's even worse with the development version, although that is supposed to be more advanced in that respect. There, upon opening, the objects are all black (or rather: fill is unset) already".

Closing because no longer replicated in 1.0alpha . This is still an issue in 0.92.x.

This is part of the migration of bugs to gitlab (http://alpha.inkscape.org/bug-migration/).

I have decided not to move it because while 0.92.x is still being worked on, I don't think this bug will likely be addressed in 0.92.x.

Tested on: 1.0alpha (9dee831, 2019-01-15) appImage, 1.0alpha (5e59ab6335, 2019-05-06, custom) build, 0.92.4 (5da689c313, 2019-01-14) flatpak, 0.92.4 (5095c1b47b, 2019-04-30) build on Linux Mint 19.1.
