Bug Description

When I run hp-clean, whether from the command line to get a GUI or from the HPLIP Status Service, I cannot get any different level of cleaning in the three levels offered. Each selection of Clean gives the exact same output taking the exact same amount of time. That does not seem correct.

The info is Xubuntu 14.04 with the following details:
HP Linux Imaging and Printing System (ver. 3.14.3)
Printer Cartridge Cleaning Utility ver. 4.0
Using device: hp:/usb/Photosmart_C3100_series?serial=CN668B721G04KV

Ran hp-doctor and got this error:
Checking for Deprecated items....
error: This distro (i.e ubuntu 14.04) is either deprecated or not yet supported.
The diagnosis is limited on unsupported platforms. Do you want to continue?(y=yes*, n=no):

This is actually not an error because this distro version is still supported.

In any case, the results are:

Hi KitchM,

Can you please install the latest 3.18.3 HPLIP Driver from https://developers.hp.com/hp-linux-imaging-and-printing website?
