Copy to clipboard fail sometimes

Bug Description

When I try to copy a screen capture to clipboard, it may fail. Generally this happens when the capture is big and detailed. When trying to paste on GIMP or another program, nothing is pasted and the programs may hang for a while.

is this one still valid? i experience the same issue. filed a bug at XFCE: https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15663

also they are asking about the xfce4-setting package version.
