Bug Description

Currently Qt 4 has been dead upstream and we are starting to have problems maintaining it, like for example in the OpenSSL 1.1 support case.

Following in the footsteps of Debian[1], all packages directly or indirectly depending on qt4-x11 (like this one) must either get ported to Qt 5 and uploaded to the development release or get removed (by means of demotion to -proposed or removal of the package) before the 19.04 release. If it is possible to port your package by the 18.10 release, please do so.

If you have any questions about porting or this transition, please ask in #ubuntu-qt (preferred) or directly ping me

Hi Simon,

I have just finished porting to Qt5 and KF5. As soon as I will have retrieved my KDE credentials, I will be able to commit the new 1.3.0 version to KDE repositories.

If you would like the new source code directly, I can send it to you.

Thanks for your patience,

Eric

Hi Simon,

I have just finished porting keurocalc to Qt 5 and KF5. I have not committed
to KDE repositories yet (credentials problem), but will do it ASAP.

Meanwhile, please find attached newest source code (1.3.0).

Thanks for your patience,

I have now committed to the KDE repositories:

  application: https://websvn.kde.org/trunk/extragear/utils/keurocalc/
  documentation: https://websvn.kde.org/trunk/extragear/utils/doc/keurocalc/
  translations: https://websvn.kde.org/trunk/l10n-kde4

Previous attachment did not include the documentation. Now the documentation is updated too.

Please notice that this program is now hosted only on KDE servers, I have stopped hosting it myself.

The translations (of the UI and of the documentation) are not copied yet to https://websvn.kde.org/trunk/l10n-kf5/ , I will try to get that done.

I hope it helps,
