Ubiquity crashes when /boot is on LVM on LUKS

Bug Description

Ubiquity should validate layouts which are not supported, instead of crashing at grub-install time. For example, /boot on LVM on LUKS is not a supported layout (must be hacked around as documented at https://askubuntu.com/questions/729673/ubuntu-full-disk-encryption-with-encrypted-boot), but the only feedback is a crashed installed at grub-install time.

I'm not sure this is a duplicate of bug 506670, this issue occurs even with drives smaller than 2TB.
