I found this : https://dkim-milter-discuss.narkive.com/rO3LtMGS/solved-can-t-read-smfic-eoh-reply-packet-header-success
(remove search" line from the /etc/resolv.conf file)
but it didn't help.

Why using a pre-release version instead of the stable one ?

This still seems to be a problem. We need more information about the conditions leading to the crash though, config, logs, backtrace etc.

See also the upstream issue tracker at https://github.com/trusteddomainproject/OpenDKIM/issues.

Without any information on configuration, logs and how to reproduce the
problem, we cannot do anything here. A lot of new patches have been
applied in the meantime, hopefully adressing this.

Please open a new ticket if the problem persists in the current version.
Marking as ‘incomplete’.
