Bug Description
This will be needed for the first HWE stack in 18.04.2, so best to add them now and not as an SRU which will be more painful.

although it's hard for me to prove, but libxcb should fix a number of threading issues seen in the past.
These are already in Debian testing, so they build and haven't caused regressions.
I happened to sync xcb-proto already..
