Bug Description

The last version pulled before the debian import freeze (0.12-1) unfortunately had some issues that made the unit tests fail randomly. Thus, the builds didn't go through. I am happy to announce that the issues were resolved in 0.12-3 in debian testing, and would be grateful if that version also came with the next ubuntu release.

Thanks in advance,
Fabian
