install ubuntu 17.04 on a new hard drive

Bug Description

Installed system from Linux format LXF231d/dec/17, this appeared to load correctly
Using the Install app on this release, After a time it stoped due to a crash.
Which report a program with the hard drive and said I possible need a new hard drive.

This drive I am loading the software on is a brand new 2TB drive.
