Bug Description
In the installer I choose to resize a NTFS partition. (from 21 GB to 13 GB)
While it was resizing, an empty blue screen was shown.
There should have been a text there, like : Performing NTFS resize. Please wait...
A progres indicator would be even better.
This was with an ubuntu 5.04 install CD.

As the ntfsresize author, I can confirm this. The bug is basically a duplication
of #7758 which I also commented there.
Ntfsresize provides information, status messages and progress bar but Partman
throws away all of these.
