Bug Description
Under 18.04, for about a week now, my touchpad’s pointer is very hesitant and just stops most of the time. It will only starts moving again after clicking buttons a couple times and will work for a second or two.
I have a similar problem running Bionic 2018-02-28 Live USB.
The hardware is not at cause here since it works perfectly under 17.10 on the same system.
Don,t know if it is xorg or kernel related.

As of 2018-03-20, the problem is still present in Bionic. Installing xserver- xorg-input- synaptics seem to have fixed the issue, but shouldn’t libinput have been sufficient?
