While looking into bug 1751498, I tried using Firefox to see if it had the same issues as Chromium. However, I cannot even login with Firefox. The login page loads, but after filling in the user name and password, and hitting "Sign in" nothing happens.

I suspect bug 1739803, but have not had time to revert that commit and test it again. I will probably not get to that today, either.

This turned out to be a self-signed certificate issue. When not using a proxy for port 7682 to 443, you need to connect to https://host.domain.tld:7682/ in Firefox and make the security exception for your self-signed certificate. It seems Firefox tracks these by host name and port, and not just host name.
