1) To clarify, the issue you are having is only Firefox or Chrome will crash?
2) How often does the crashing occur?
3) What specifically do you do that afterwards the crashing occurs?
4) After the crash, are there crash files in /var/crash?
5) Is this something that started to happen after an update? If so, which specifically?
