Bug Description

idk what happen in the background, but the laptop is quite noisy (high cpu utilization), then i shut it down, the next time i login, dpkg error and dkms is hang

I struggled with this issue as well. I think I have solved it by running "/etc/kernel/postinst.d/dkms 4.13.0-36-generic --force /boot/vmlinuz-4.13.0-36-generic" (so adding a "--force" flag).

Adding --force flag didn't help... It still hangs
