Firefox keeps disappearing

Firefox crashes randomly..............disappearing from the screen and when it does there are lots of little blank frames which then also disappear.
the version is 2.0.0.11

Hi,

please submit the crash report by (double) clicking on it (e.g. using gnome file manager). Otherwise, we won't be able to process it efficiently. The .crash files can be found in the /var/crash directory.

I've got the same problem with firefox 2.0.0.13

And I can't send a crash report because when I try to do so, the crash report file states that it itself is broken or damaged...
