Bug Description

Update-manager stops and informs me that something unspecified goes wrong.

Apparently, this is about package conflicts which affects a lot of Python packages.

This seems more close to you having held broken packages. Can you run dpkg --configure -a and apt-get install -f to see if that fixes it?

Hi Gustavo,

I just did that. It doesn't fix it. In fact, it does nothing, reflecting the fact that the 12.04 system is already fully upgraded.

To be precise:

agger@dsntest:~$ sudo dpkg --configure -a
