Bug Description

I can't log in anymore. I've force rebooted several times. Was working fine with occasional freezes until recently but now it freezes every login.

17.10 - Wayland was disabled as per: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1747568 (system info & bug details are the same as that report)

Mouse usually just stays frozen in the middle of the Ubuntu Purple screen. Sometimes the user desktop would partially load but the mouse would still be frozen in the middle.

No keyboard keys work either but keyboard does have power.

I'm setting this bug to "Incomplete" as it's not seen any activity for some time. If this is still an issue when using a maintained release of Ubuntu then please let us know otherwise this bug report can be left to expire in approximately 60 days time.
