flashplugin-nonfree not installing correctly in Gutsy

Bug Description

after installing ubuntu-restricted-extras, flash does not work in firefox or opera. this has been repeated twice on 2 different computers.

My first thought, off the top of my head, is that there was recently a new release of the Flash plugin. The flashplugin-nonfree package needs to be updated either (a) to specifically download the older Flash plugin, if that is possible, or (b) for the new Flash release.
