Bug Description

Under Xubuntu, Qt5-style-plugins does the theming of Qt5 apps okay, but does not switch the file chooser dialog to the GTK one and does not switch the button order from the KDE/Qt order of "OK,Cancel" to "Cancel,OK"

The button order issue is especially annoying for muscle memory and saving or not saving changes on exits.

All of this works 100% on Qt4.

Is this a bug in Qt5, in GTK3, in Qt5-style-plugins or in XFCE or in Xubuntu's config files?

I should correct myself. QBitTorrent (Qt5) works as well. It is LyX (Qt5) that does not use the GTK file chooser or use GTK button order.

Should now read as:

Is this a bug in Qt5, in GTK3, in Qt5-style-plugins, in certain Qt5 apps like Lyx or in XFCE or in Xubuntu's config files?

affects: ubuntu → qtstyleplugins-src (Ubuntu)

How do you use qtstyleplugins-src? Did you try to export QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME=gtk2 environment variable?
