Bug Description

Dell XPS 13, Ubuntu Xenial 16.04,
Mixxx 2.1.0-beta1 (build 2.1 r6486), French language, Tango Skin

On a Track, Right Click/Crates.
The names of Crates are not visible. They are visible only when the mousse is above the name of the Crate.
The command "Create new Crate" is visible (normal).

Any idea how to style the context menu, as well as the html links mentioned in lp:1744816?

On macOS, target crates (the part with the checkboxes) are visible and working as expected.
But it looks like this part somehow inherits a style from a parent widget, because the font is different then the "Create new Crate" option.

Who knows which can of worms opens when we start to style the mouse menu.

Instead of styling the mouse menu, better make sure a default style is applied to the faulty part of the menu.

Hmmm, on my machine the text color is fine but the background color is not. I guess both need to be set explicitly.
