Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest v4.15 kernel[0].

If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'.

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag: 'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'.

Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as "Confirmed".

Thanks in advance.

With the last kernel (4.15 rc9) I no longer have the message of Error "The bug is tpm_crb MSFT0101:00: [firmware bug] acpi region does not cover..."

But Ihave the same bug "watchdog: BUG: soft lockup - CPU#0 stuck for 23s..."

OK very good. The last release of the kernel resolve the problem of boot.

I think that the bug is fixed in this commit of the kernel :

Sorry.

I thought that the version kernel was 4.15 but it's 4.13.
I boot on the daily iso of ubuntu and I thought that the kernel was updated.
I boot with acpi = off for to install the kernel 4.15 ( http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/daily/current/ )

but the problem is the same.
