Bug Description

My project, wasta-cinnamon-xenial https://launchpad.net/wasta-cinnamon-xenial was originally setup as a bazaar import from github https://github.com/wasta-linux/wasta-cinnamon-xenial, and then I created a daily recipe to build it. Later, another user, SonicWalker, built a recipe against this bazaar branch.

However, I now need to build a different branch from github, and it seems the best way to do this is to use git at launchpad rather than bazaar, since the ",branch=$wasta-layout" syntax is causing errors and not able to import correctly.

The import to launchpad git is working fine, and the wasta-layout branch is present. HOWEVER, when I attempt to build a recipe against this wasta-layout git branch using this syntax:

# git-build-recipe format 0.4 deb-version {debupstream}-0~{revtime}
lp:wasta-cinnamon-xenial wasta-layout

Then the gui window automagically changes the "git-build-recipe" to "bzr-builder" and upon saving the recipe it shows under the bazaar branch and no recipe appears under the git branch.

So I am unable to build a recipe against the git branch using git-build-recipe when there is both bazaar and git code for the same project.

I would happily delete the bazaar branch and ONLY use git in launchpad which I am sure would solve the issue, but since another user has built a recipe against my code, I can't delete it! I have attempted to contact the user asking them to delete their recipe, but they have not responded. HELP?
