Bug Description

I am trying to access the web page http://www.toyota.com/prius/options.html, running various browsers on Gutsy Gibbon 7.10: Firefox 2.0.0.10, Galeon 2.0.2, and Epiphany 2.20.1.

With all three browsers on the Ubuntu version, the first 2 or 3 paragraphs of text are obscured by a blank area which is superimposed.

The same thing happens with the 1.5... version of Firefox which comes with Ubuntu 6.06 LTS.

However, on Windows XP Home, I can view the same page properly using the latest Internet Explorer or with Firefox 2.0.0.10 or 2.0.0.11.

I assume the problem is due to common Gecko or other code used by all three of the above Linux browsers, since the page is viewed properly on the Windows version of Firefox. So I assume that I needn't submit separate reports on Galeon or Epiphany, but let me know if I should do that anyway.

Sorry but Firefox-2 is getting near EOS and they wont be fixing anything but major issues security issues mainly. Please try to reproduce this with Firefox-3.0 if you can reproduce this bug please click on Help > Report a problem and file the bug that way. This does not mean that it wasn't already fixed.
It cant be a gecko problem as windows version of FF uses gecko, thi sis not a firefox bug,

The site the problem appeared on has changed since last December, so I would not be able to reproduce this and can not right now either. I don't expect to have a more recent version of Ubuntu that 6.06 LTS running on anything in the near future, either, though I do have Debian 4.0 running on one system.

At any rate, the display on Windows and Linux definitely was different. Not a CSS problem since IE and Firefox worked equally well on Windows XP.
