Please use the standard MIR template and fill it out completely. The current MIR is missing a lot of information, and does not resolve the OMFS question. We do not have pmount any more either. So how does it work out of the box now? Please include research about Debian/upstream bugs and Debian/upstream maintenance.

hope I've answered all your questions for the MIR in the new section "background info"

libkarma works "out of the box" if the karma is mounted and you're using an amarok version with karma-support

Oh btw. libkarma also seems to provide access to the device not only via USB and OMFS but also via its network interface, but I never tested nor used it because the device provides a sweet java progam for network management.

Debian upsteam only has 3 bugs: 2 wishes for updated versions, one compile problem
