Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.11 with Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy. When uploading a file (.jpg) to MediaWiki 1.4.4., after selecting a file, when entering text in the Summary field, I enter a hostname, i.e. "hostname.domain.com". Firefox immediately shuts-down when I type the second "." . I can reproduce the problem ad nausium on my Ubuntu machine. I cannot duplicate the problem on my Windows XP machine or on a Mac running OS X.

I'm thinking of rolling back to 2.0.0.9 - please advise.

Hi,

please submit the crash report by (double) clicking on it (e.g. using gnome file manager). Otherwise, we won't be able to process it efficiently. The .crash files can be found in the /var/crash directory.

Thanks,
