openbox-gnome-session immediately dies

Bug Description

Selecting GNOME/Openbox or running openbox-gnome-session directly fails with
/usr/bin/openbox-gnome-session: 23: test: -lt: unexpected operator

The reason seems to be that gnoem-session --version doesn't output anything.
