Bug Description

The Artifact at position 135/65 couldn't be conquered by a player because lacking building space to build military sites.

Either
- replace the artifact or
- make more building space

I'd prefer more building space. I think extending the space to be sufficient for a medium building could be enough to conquer the whole island including the artifact.

How about this?

You can conquer the whole island with sentries now. Two of the building spots are blocked by rocks though.

I meant to report this a few months ago when I found the problem testing Frisians. It certainly looks solvable now from the editor view, just going to take a few hours to get to the island and test it.

@3plus4i: sounds nice, as long as the rocks are reachable by the stone cutters. :-)

I just tried it (in "endless game" mode, without enemies and no fog of war, and 20x speed, it's just a few minutes). With some trickery, I could conquer the right half of the island (including the artifact), so it is possible to win the game.

I could not, however, fully conquer the left side of the island (if that was intended), neither using barbarians nor imperium.

Looks like I made a mistake. Now it should work.

Yes it works OK now. You can capture the artefact with a quarry and two sentries, 99% of the island with 3 more sentries and all of it with one more.

3plus4i can you add yourself as the author by editing the author in the map options like:

NameOfOldAuthor – edited by YourName

and create a branch for a merge request?

Thanks :-)

I can confirm that I could now conquer the whole island. Thanks a lot!

I'll try. Launchpad really isn't intuitive to understand (at least for me) and a web interface doesn't seem to exist even for such simple things *sigh*

3plus4i do you still have a problem using launchpad, I feel your pain, it took me a long time to get comfortable using it, and even now I use the page linked to above a lot.

If I can help you please PM me, (it will be a bit like the blind leading the blind,) there are still users having problems as the upgraded map is not in yet.
