Energy resistance is not being applied

Start up a party, add a monster. I used a character from the game I'm running, and the Spectral Apparition that came with the software.

Select a PC, bring up the Conditions & Effects screen. Select Resist/Vulnerable. Give them resist 5 necrotic. Press OK. It'll list the PC with "Resist 5 (necrotic)" on their conditions. Good so far.

Now bring up the Spectre, pick its Shadow Touch power. Program the Hit line to do 1d8+2 necrotic damage. Select the PC as being hit, make sure the Damage roll is at least 5. Click OK and look at the PC. They took full damage from the attack, even though it should have been reduced.

I also tried this the other way, with a PC hitting the critter with a poison attack -- it's listed as immune, so it should have done zero damage, but the damage went through anyway.
