Bug Description

Sometimes (often) imported books have ratings embedded in the metadata. I do not want this arbitrary rating imported as I like to use my own. I realize that turning off reading of metadata from the file contents in preferences will achieve this, but then I lose all of the other functionality this provides, which I do not want to lose. So, an option to simply not import ratings would be helpful.

This is not worth the effort for me personally. If some one else wants to implement it, I will be happy to supply any needed guidance. If so, re-open the ticket and we can discuss it.

The easiest way to do this is to simply create your own ratings column
via Preferences->Add your own column. Then use the builting rating
column for other people's ratings/ratings downloaded via the download
metadata function and use the extra rating column for your own rating.
Or you can just hide the builtin rating column by right clicking its
header and choosing "Hide column"
