image filter primitive not working correctly

Bug Description
Grouped objects cannot be added into a filter chain with the image filter primitive.
In addition, a different bug:
the pulled in object is placed from the top left corner of the page, which is highly impractical (i.e. setting the filter bounding box 1;1, restricting the object in the top left corner of the page, preferably on a hidden layer; would be easier for the editing if it could be accessed from the outside while looking at the filtered object.)
