MTU size adjustment not working

I try to configure the MTU size of the network card "ASUS XG-C100C 10G Network Adapter" with jumbo frames.

I can not adjust the MTU size, only the MTU size of 1500 can be set.

Card controller:

I used the following Ubuntu versions:

MTU size adjustment works with Kernel v4.14.7

MTU size adjustment is not working with Kernel 4.13.0-26-generic #29~16.04.2-Ubuntu.

Please feel free to open a new bug report if you're still experiencing this on a newer release (Bionic 18.04.3 / Disco 19.04)
