Bug Description
Binary package hint: evolution
If I open an attached document in evolution with any gnome application, choose File -> Save As, then change the directory (commonly to the Desktop for me) then the filename in the "Name" field at the top of the dialog box is cleared. Because I often want to just change the directory and save, the filename should remain the same, but this causes me to have to retype the name each time. A work around for evolution is to use the "save as" menu item from on evolution attachments, which DOES retain the filename even when switching directories, but this same behavior happens in any application using the standard "save as" dialog.

this annoying behaviour sometimes also occures with firefox. Eventually a more general problem with the gtk file save dialog and its application.
