Xsession becomes zombie after login

Bug Description

Binary package hint: x11-common

Everytime I login, the Xsession-script becomes a zombie-process. It is not killable by "sudo kill -9 <pid>". But the login process lasts longer then it should normally and the Desktop seems a little bit slow sometimes. But maybe this is caused by something other. I couldn't find any other consequences.
If I login with another user, I get another Xsession zombie.

The .xsession-errors and /var/log/Xorg.0.log files show me no reasons, but I'll attach them anyway.

After I log out, the zombie disappears and reappears after I login again.

Seems like some process is blocking so it cannot finish. Please attach the output of 'ps aux >ps-aux.txt'.

I believe the reason is here:

/etc/X11/Xsession.d/40guidance-displayconfig_restore: 11: /usr/bin/displayconfig-restore: not found

you removed kde-guidance but it didn't remove the Xsession file.

Kubuntu 8.04 has reached the end of its supported life, and unfortunately the Guidance user configuration tool and the Guidance Power Manager were the only Guidance apps to survive. The rest were removed from distribution and will not be receiving any more bugfixes. Thanks for understanding, and have a nice day.
