Clementine freezes after trying to play mp3 file

I cannot play mp3 files anymore as Clementine freezes after double clicking a file. My system is up to date.

It's likely a bug in ubuntu or a driver issue because it works again after changing the audio device in ubuntu settings and then set it again to the original audio device and restarting Clementine. I'm using a Dell Docking Station (with a DisplayLink driver) as audio device.
