I followed the steps described on the bug #178481 (Edit->Preferences...) and the application crashed.

I'm confirming this issue with the last version of kazehakase (0.5.2).

Cheers!

Right, this may well be.

The changelog :-

    * Remove a needless header(Kouhei SUTOU, Reported by Mamoru Tasaka. Thanks)
    * Fix a crash when preference dialog is opened.(Hiroyuki IKEZOE)
    * added de.po(Enrico Tröger)
    * xulrunner support is being inplemeted. It maybe do not work.(Shunichi Fuji, Hiroyuki IKEZOE)
    * resupported thumbnail(Kouhei SUTOU)

Now we are past feature-freeze, only if it gets into debian, is there a possibility that somebody may take a look at it & do the update/upgrade. (MOTU) :)
