Bug Description

I am doing some tests of using xbcloud to backup/restore with openstack swift. My xbstream archive is 14GB in size, and contains one database with 50k relatively small tables.

The backup and restore finished successfully, but took a very long time, i.e. ~4 hours for uploading to swift for backup, and over 12 hours for downloading from swift and restore with xbstream. I was using `--parallel=10` option.

Any ideas why it was slow? And I am curious if I could use xbcloud with a gzipped xbstream archive.

Hello,
Can you please send us the exact command that you used for the backup/restore along with the versions information. Also please send us the total DB size and the complete o/p of the xtrabackup command when the backup is complete and similarly for the restore.
